Taking X-Rays

Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted any time our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Routine Surgeries and Procedures

In the surgery room with Dr. Eichler

Dr. Eichler is a skilled surgeon, and can perform spay/neuter, declaw, puppy ear cropping (for specific breeds between 8 and 12 weeks of age), tumor / lump removals, and foreign body removal, as well as other surgeries. Our surgical team includes educated and trained individuals whose compassion and skill will set you at ease when you choose to leave your pet with us for surgery. No pet is left alone while being prepped for surgery, during surgery, or during their recovery period.

We offer affordable cat neuters for $100.00 to prevent male spraying behavior.  Our staff is happy to give you an estimate for any other surgical procedures, whether elective or necessary.

All pets have to be current on vaccinations and flea preventatives prior to being admitted to Community Animal Hospital.

Emergency & Urgent Care

Swollen Face Allergic Reaction

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care need your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such a dog fight victims, snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarian will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

Bathing & Brushouts

Bathing and brush outs for your pet are available. We use soap free shampoo and conditioning creme rinse. The bath includes nail trim, ear plucking if needed, anal gland expression, protective eye ointment to avoid irritation from hair and blow drying. Teeth brushing is available for an additional $7 fee.

Payments

Community Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. We also take Care Credit (with minimum purchase of $200). So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered. No checks on first visits please.

We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
